I don’t know if anybody exists here anymore, but I’m going to try and start a new thread.
Well, I stopped training about 6-8 months ago due to some personal and work issues, and wanted to get “back in business”.
I’m sitting around 170lbs now (used to be around 185lbs when “fit”).  It’s amazing the amount of weight you loose when you top training.  Unfortunately, next to loosing muscle, I have packed some horrible fat on hehehehe.
Well, I was used to a 4 day split chest-tri/legs/back-bic/should-abs, with a day or two on cardio.
I want to go back, but it’s always difficult to stat again, and I think maybe a routine change could make the trick to find the gym enjoyable again.
I really don’t want to go up over 180lbs, since the “additional” weight interferes with some other of my hobbies, but I would like to have those 180lbs looking good.
Any ideas of “new” different routines you’ve tried which have worked for you?  Anything interesting going on the Fitness/Bodybuilding business now a days?

Thanks mates!

And great to be back here….

Well, Cam..... as you can see, not much going on here.
My advice is to ease back into it. Take a couple of weeks to
get back into the full swing of whatever workout scheme you
decide on. Hey I like the feeling of the soreness that we all are familiar with....
but there isn't any sense in getting so sore that we are crippled up
and hobbling around for a few days!
Welcome back!

In fairness, it isn't just this site. Other B/B sites that I check out are in pretty
much the same boat.

Alas, the fad that was the internet, is passing before our eyes.....

Sorry Camilo, I have definitely let this site slip. With all the projects and other sites I have I barely have time to stop in. But in all reality, it only takes a couple minutes a day, so I am a slacker.

As far as your routine. A great way to make it fun is to have a list of all your body parts, and do whatever you like each day you go into the gym, but you cant redo a bodypart until all have been done. Make sense? When you first hit the iron again, you need to keep the volume a little higher and the intensity a little lower, so you can neurally adapt and learn how to fire up the right pathways and motor units. You wont be getting any stronger for the first couple of weeks, just neurally adapting. I am sure you know all this, being the almighty Camilo, but it makes a fun first couple of weeks knowing you can take it easier and a little more relaxed.

The main thing is to get your butt into the gym! Smiley

It's great to hear from you again, at least to know you're still alive!!!!
I always felt this place was like a "family" where we all argued and fought with each other but at the end love was in the air Cheesy

I haven't been able to go back to the gym regularly.  I'm going twice or three times a week at most, just for pure procrastination which only brings guilt afterward Embarrassed

Anyway, anything you need, please let me know....
