I have begun mixing deca and enth into a single 2 cc injection twice weekly. I have always injected into my glutes alternating sides each time. However, since I have began taking the single shot my god am I sore and swollen. I have always experienced a little tenderness the next day but its hard to sit down. I have been using a 23 gauge 1-1/2" pin. Anybody have any ideas? I have administered sus and deca this way without problems could it be the enthelate?

Not the enanthate ester itself, but how it is suspended. Different labs use different BA concentrations to keep the ester in solution with the oil which can add to post injection swelling and soreness. It doesn't affect anything, really. Are you using a different lab? Ester combinations like sustenon and T-400 tend to make me more sore than a straight enanthate or cypionate.

The lab was API, the weird thing I started this cycle about two weeks ago and each injection has definetely caused more soreness than usual but one in particular literally has one cheek visibly swollen and extremely sore for the last week. I took an injection two days ago without this same result. I was reading a web-site that said I could have injected into a layer of fat but I don't hold the needle at an angle and I was using the 1-1/2" pin.

API Enth ALWAYS makes the I.S. tender (Enth PERIOD ie; human grade, vet grade...it doesn't seem to make a difference!). Switch to Cypionate and you won't even be able to tell that you've had a shot!   Wink

API enanthate didn't make me particularly sore. I like their stuff. I like cypionate just fine, too. I can't tell any difference whatsoever in the two. I'll get whatever I can get a good deal on. Running Omnadren right now, like it well.

Hey M&B...how ya been bro? Enth doesn't bother you at ALL? Oh yeah! That's comming from the man that can take a Reforvit-B injection w/propalene Glycol as a base and feel NOTHING!! You must be the real "man of steel" bro...   Grin

Hey, Jack! Good to hear from you... I'm getting along, but have been suffereing some physical ailments of late. Shoulder and low back are acting up, and I had a retinal tear in my right eye that needed a laser procedure to fix. Had to lay off heavy lifting for a  month... getting better though.

As for pain, it's about the trade-off... I'll pour Tabasco Sauce in my eye if it will help me grow. What really hurts me but doesn't help much is the high-dose ester combinations like T-400.
